WELCOME To Bravuro Cellars

BIG BOLD

Red Wines

We do one thing very well. We produce award-winning, warm/hot-climate, small-batch, hand-crafted, full-bodied and robust, distinctive red wines.

Our Founders

Steve & Luci

We (Steve and Luci) are partners in life and business. We met in 2005 and spent most of our time in the San Francisco Bay Area.

When we met, our shared interests were hot-climate, full-bodied, distinctive red wines. During the 2006 harvest, we helped a Lodi, California, grape grower and winemaker crush and press his estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and other varietals. It was our first time on the front lines of wine-making, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Each subsequent year, we became more involved in the wine-making process. Eventually, we picked, crushed, pressed, punched, tested, topped, analyzed, oaked, racked, blended, filtered, bottled, corked, capped, labeled, packed, shipped, poured, inventoried, marketed, and tasted many wines.

Who We Are

We Are Bravuro

When we named our business, we started with a blank slate. Ideally, we wanted one word that described us, our goals, our wines, and our business model. ‘Bravuro’ (pronounced brah-voo-roh) means a display of boldness or daring, great skill, and energy in doing something.

Our foray into the wine business was a daring move, a true act of bravuro. Our wines, big and bold, are a testament to this spirit. And the audacity to introduce hot-climate, small-batch, hand-crafted, full-bodied and robust, distinctive red wines into the heart of Oregon Pinot Country was a true act of bravuro.

We also wanted a logo that would communicate warm/hot-climate, small-batch, hand-crafted, full-bodied, robust, distinctive, ultra-premium red wines. Since our business model is contrary to all other Oregon wineries, we wanted a logo/label that colored outside the lines.

Our Tasting Rooms

Both tasting rooms are closed on Super Bowl Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

We also host special wine club events at this location. Please note that no animals or children under the age of 21 are allowed during these events. Reservations are not accepted at either location; seating and service are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Our one-of-a-kind wine-tasting bar boasts two unique features. The countertop is made of white quartz, creating a striking contrast when bold red wine is poured and swirled across its surface—setting the stage for a truly memorable tasting experience.

The front and side panels of the bar are crafted from red barn siding reclaimed from a 100-year-old barn in Dayton, Oregon. We hand-cut the siding into six-inch squares and created the parquet pattern ourselves, adding a touch of rustic charm to the bar’s design.
